You’ve heard the Confucius saying, “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.”
In this book Joseph Kings narrates his journey to self-actualisation.
Even though he was 100 percent passionate about his chosen employment, there were times when he got stuck in the daily grind. From being homeless, laughed at, discouraged even failed at everything he tried to do because he wanted to be someone else until he realised, he needed to find Himself first.
He writes “The journey begun of knowing my self-First. Finding myself First seemed farfetched like an inherently self-centred goal, but it was an unselfish process that was the root of everything we do for life. The moments I gave up on myself, the sleeplessness from worrying about what people think of me, seeking man’s approval made me to become their puppet. I got back on my feet and got my gloves on and went back to the principles instilled in me by my grandma “keep grinding” the journey had already begun the Grind was on
